onlyemma's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not dead Jodie :-) After a few complaints and Jodie's entry in my guestbook, In thought I'd better write in here again. Chiv slept over at our house for a few days and we spent the majority of our time making up dances to *cough*S Club Juniors*cough* and being forced to watch programmes on the TV about the Queen and her Golden Jubilee, by my mum, because "it's history in the making" as she puts it. She wouldn't even let us finish watching Ghostbusters II :-( Yesterday we (me, Katie, Kirst, Meg) went to Alton Towers with school. I was in my usual role of bag-holder for most of the time, so the others could go on the big, scary rides. However, I did go on a few 'upside down rides' which were really good. The weather was lovely as well. Kate said it was because she'd made a deal with God the night before. Kirst said it was because she'd used reverse psychology and bought a cagoule with her. She said to prove it I should buy a plastic mack from the Alton Towers gift shop and the weather would get significantly better. "Not at those prices!"was my reply. When we were walking across the park, Meg bought up the topic of how Kirsty sets herself up to be the butt of jokes. Not on purpose, but she manages it somehow. So we told her that she not only holds our hands down the path of humiliation, but picks us up and carries us on her back and then stands under a neon sign, on a box. She agreed somewhat. Bless. When we went to get an icecream, there was a board at the front saying: icecream child 65p icecream adult 85p etc So Katie went up and said, "can I have an icecream child please?" 10:07 p.m. - 2002-06-07 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
