onlyemma's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- dictionary in the dictionary Have you ever wondered why the word 'dictionary' is actually in the dictionary? My friend Charlotte was pondering over the same thing in our English Language lesson today (surprisingly!). Because here's the thing....if you don't know what the word 'dictionary' means, obviously you don't know what a dictionary is. Therefore, you can't look in the dictionary to find out what 'dictionary' means because if you knew how to look in a dictionary, you'd know what one was and you wouldn't have to look it up, right?
