My instructor was extremely quiet when I asked him if he was happy letting me loose on the roads. I'm not particularly encouraged by such a response. A pigeon was crossing the road during my lesson on Monday so I beeped the horn and it didn't even move. Can they hear? I asked my instructor and he said, "not if they're deaf".
